The game's setting has origins in the 90's Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi comic book series and is considered part of the Star Wars expanded universe. The series also received numerous spin-off comic books and novels in the same timeline.

BioWare later developed a MMORPG spin-off on December 2011 titled Star Wars: The Old Republic. Knights of the Old Republic later received a sequel in late 2004/early 2005, developed by Obsidian. Along with extensive character building and numerous dialogue trees, the game features a dedicated morality system similar to Star Wars: Jedi Knight – Dark Forces II (where specific actions push the player's character towards either the "light" or "dark" side, unlocking extra narratives and easier access to specific Force Powers) and bonus mini-games (including swoop bike racing and an original collectible card game called "Pazaak"). If someone else helps me with this then I am of course going to credit DEVISS as well, but this model will be the most unique part of this mod and I really don`t want to release it with the current model. A very important thing to note is that the model I want to use is owned by DEVISS, however its been about 5 whole months since I sent him a message on both ModDB and GameToast and he has yet to reply. What I need/will need assistance with to complete YVR (For fellow modders)Ĭurrently the only main thing I know I need help with right now is getting a semi-custom model into the game (technically 2, but they are the same model with some slight addons to it). I`m not sure what the future holds for YVR, but I hope that The Clone Wars returning to be completed is a sign that YVR will too. Work has been pretty slow lately, although in the many months I`ve been absent, I was able to get a decent chunk of stuff done, however there`s still some things that need to be done before I can even think about releasing it, luckily these things are not insanely large. I`ll try my best to complete it, there`s no guarantee that something else won`t happen to hinder it`s development AGAIN, but we can all hope I guess. However, just as the Clone Wars is being revived, Yavin: Valley of Ruins is too, my mod will not be left unfinished. The reason being is a lot of stuff has happened in my life lately that`s hindered many things, including this mod.
